Consider committing Cargo.lock

Hi there, great project! Would you be willing to commit a Cargo.lock following the latest best practice guidance in the Cargo book? I'm particularly interested in experimenting with composefs/cfsctl on Nix/NixOS, and having the lockfile is required to have reproducible builds.

Yes, though to do this we also need to enable e.g. renovate on this repository, which gets in turn ideally involves maintained CI automation...

My proposal is that we reuse the bootc-dev CI infrastructure from https://github.com/bootc-dev/infra - I should be able to just tweak the renovate bot configuration there to also operate on all repositories in this org.
