Need to have some granular API descriptions/functions to provide additional clarity for lab testing #49
Description
In 2/12/26 Meeting: We also discussed the FMT_SMF.1/SDN Specification of Management Functions (SDN) SFR (Section 5.2.3) and the need to have some more granular API descriptions/functions as in Mobility PP [https://www.niap-ccevs.org/static_html/protection-profile/428/-428-/index.html#fmt]
- It was determined that some middle ground of API functions would provide some clarity to labs to have some scoping of what to test vs. not test.
- These further descriptions/functions will be derived from previous more detailed specifics that were presented to the TC and bubbled up to a slightly higher level to give some clarity to the labs for testing.
- These functions will be outlined as selections which will make them optional yet give some more granularity into what to test.
- SME's were going to review these over the next 2 weeks
- Pankaj to create a GitHub issue to capture and memorialize these
