python appears in path when i check, doesnt fix after reboot

Weird. What version of Windows are you on? Have you tried uninstalling Python and letting the tool re-install it? Did you try the "Retry step" button and was the result any different?

I'm on Windows 11 Pro 25H2 OS build 26200.8655. I uninstalled all versions of python from my system, ran the program, and it did nothing different. It successfully installed, but wouldn't recognize it in path even if I hit the retry button. I also tried manually installing the right version of python and checking the add to path box in the installer. When hitting the retry step button, it just repeated the same failure.
