Description of the bug

My body was hit by an HEDP right before the larva hatched, now I cannot hear anything as xeno.

What's the difference with what should have happened?

I'd expect to not be deaf as a xeno.

How do we reproduce this bug?

Throw an hedp next to a person who's larva is about to hatch and then re-nest them.
