For the initial version, allow multiple channels on the same server.

There should be a mechanism to switch between the channels on the IRC pane. (Probably some tabs at the bottom, next to the text input).

I tried to use FlowDock's IRC connection which automatically connects you to all channels you are member of so in my case I'm out of luck.
