LiveWallpaperSource...setBitmapSynchronous doesn't work when invisible

When the homescreen is not visible (a running app hides it) - calling setBitmapSynchronous doesn't do anything.
Is that expected?
Do I need to hold my call and make it when visible?

Anyway, I resolved this by checking if currently invisible, raising a flag and when visibility changes - if the flag is raised, make the call.
