For more than four years now, regulartable() has been documented as:
This function should be deprecated then removed in the next versions.
The actual deprecation is planned for the upcoming release of flextable, which I hope to submit to CRAN soon. The function will eventually be defunct in a later release then removed.
Could you please replace regulartable() with flextable() in your code? The two functions share the same interface, so the change should be straightforward.
