Light theme (or themes support?)

3code is optimised for dark terminals. In light mode, it's barely readble:

It would be great if 3code would adapt to the terminal theme or just have an option to pick a light or dark theme.

That's weird there is actually a light theme. I am guessing it's just not enabling.

You can add this to the 3code config to force it until I get it fixed:

[settings]

mode = light

I see! In that case it could be anything and I'll have to reproduce it. This is WSL using the Linux binary, correct?

Yes, it's WSL2 with Ubuntu.

Setting the mode to dark does the trick: with light terminal, you want 3code to be dark and vice versa.
