The plugin currently communicates with SAP Document AI exclusively via the REST API (document-information-extraction/v1), which works across all service plans.
It would also be good to explore the idea of add support for the Document AI OData APIs as an alternative transport for applications on higher-tier plans. This would enable richer querying and result navigation directly through the CAP OData layer.
