More flexible configuration (analogous to Obsidian's "Custom Sort" plugin?)

Great work, this plugin has lots of potential! It's not yet flexible enough for my needs yet, but I'd love to help change that :)

I'll try to write out a more useful list of "things I'd love to have" when I have a bit more bandwidth (and hopefully contribute a bunch of them), but in the meantime you might be interested in the way the "Custom Sort" plugin for Obsidian handles this for a different program. Their documentation for the configuration format is a bit... intense, but it has never failed me in terms of flexibility!

I dont want it to make it too complicated. But in the future I might add more sorting functions and folder specific sorting functions. But right now I need to focus on another project.
