Bootstrap ATS: UI Development

@burhanuddin6, I want to contribute to the frontend development using Bootstrap, and here are my ideas that I can design and improve frontend codebase.

• Responsive Design
• Card Layouts
• Form Enhancements
• Navigation Bar
• Interactive Components (modals, tooltips, and popovers)
• Icons and Typography

I would love that!
If you want to contribute, first of all I need to clean up a little bit. Like there is a lot of things that can be still reused and properly made into flexible components. The code is all over the place and for now its a mess. Also I want to lessen the code therefore I want to try tailwind.
I think the best way to do is to make components are very flexible in terms of editing.

I do not have much time today to discuss but I like your idea. Also a future milestone is to shift this project to REST framework and isolate the frontend because this project has high user interaction and it is hard to keep things clean with templates.

this is the UI prototype for the project. It does not cover everything but gives an overview.

Those design I have made 2 years ago with just inspiration from web UIs. There were many things to be done inside my UI. I agree with you that "Principles of UI designs" is more important, It interacts with user experience.

Have a good rest and make yourself stress free as much as possible. Don't forget to look into PR every minute 😂.

Prototype looks clean and good 💫. It matches the job recruiting theme. I would be happy to work on UI part once Backend is ready or atleast stable.

At the moment, Backend needs some file/folder structural change. Code can be reused in views, models. I can setup django user authentication and so on.

What structural change do you suggest? Like breaking down models.py file?

I'm suggesting we put all apps template folder into single templates folder. I mentioned a structure article in another discussion.

I have created a milestone for slowly shifting towards React by first making components. Nothing special about the choice, just that its beginner friendly and well-supported. I will first restructure the backend and then move toward the UI features. The aim is to make the UI scalable and easy to maintain. Need to learn React too.

React is very user-friendly and easily to implement. Like you said, let's finish up file structure and UI part. Also, It would be nice if you add a meaningful comments for each and every functions, class, etc. You have the better knowledge to the codebase, It would be great if you do this.

Yes I am working on making db requests atomic. and restructuring functions related to a model as a method to that model.
