We’re using Discussions as a place to connect with contributors. As the owner of the repo, I will not be committing to this repository unless for some fun thoughts. This project is open to open-source contributors to understand and meaningfully contribute to open-source software. This project has a lot of issues, which are described in the issues tab. I have used Django only in this project up till now so that it is convenient for beginners to understand and get started.

hi can you open another PR from the changes you made. Actually i messed up things a bit cuz I worked without pulling from github first and now I can't roll back to your last PR cuz I rolled back to a PR that was before that (by mistake again).

Current folder structure,

Highlighted folder/file(s) are moved inside of ats folder to root directory

The root for the project is the ats folder therefore keeping it out doesnt seem right. Also, I found this more standard. I think the structure we have is better. If you are doing this to seperate the frontend, I think its pretty much separated already. Also, one of the future milestone of the project is to fully isolate the frontend from the backend, but thats still very far and subjective

the actual project folder is ats and not the ats_public folder. The ats public folder is made for things that are not specific to the project like creating a virtual environment, adding docs, workflows, etc.

Thanks for clarifying that the actual project folder is "ats" and not "ats_public." I now understand that "ats_public" is intended for general project-related tasks like creating a virtual environment, adding documentation, workflows, vscode, etc. With this mindset, I can clearly understand the structure better.
