Working with the page footer for better organization, I see that inserting a table brings about some unexpected results. Even a simple table creates multiple line breaks <br> that pushes the content out of sight on the email. In my tests, a simple table that contains social icons, unsubscribe, site title, canspam and view in browser, created 16 line breaks.
