Nancy Franklin in Blackbaud Support told me to file an issue with the documentation here.
Personally, I think it's a bug in the functionality, not a bug in documentation, but if I can get my voice heard somewhere else, apparently this is an option.
I am testing out the ADF and passing in the acknowledgee information per the documentation, name, address, etc...
When I look at the row in the batch, the request for acknowledgement goes into the revenue note, but it doesn't include any of the additional acknowledgee information besides thefirst and last name.
So, if the batch doesn't do anything with the acknowledgee details other than putting the first nad last name in the revenue note, then I suppose the documentation should say "These fields are ignored"
But it seems to me that if y'all built the API to accept those fields (and return them in the GET and COMPLETE methods... then something should be happening behind the scenes.
The case central case I entered is 13382254, FYI.
