Possible to use raspberry for nand dump/flashing?

Hi,
I'm trying to hardmod my new 3ds xl and don't have a proper SD card reader.
I was wondering, since you made this tool, which is awesome, BTW, would you know if it might be possible to use the raspberry pi for nand dumping and flashing? I was thinking about doing dd if=mmcblk0p1 of="somewhere in the usb stick" with your linux image.

Well, mine were just bent out of place, so i bent them back. I used regular scotch tape cut right to the shape of the cables, and sticked it to the side without any contacts of the flex cable, making the cable thicker and ensuring better contact with the (now loose) cable clips. also, while putting the flex cable back, i held the clip firmly pressed down with a screwdriver, and let go only when the flex cable was in place. The two things together made my flex cables working again. It doesn't always work first try, so i test it out by running the 3ds and seeing if things work. for me it was the mic and home button flex cables not working, as well as the analog stick, where i found a small gap at the connector part of the flex, i cut that part out and it worked again.
