[Foreign Key] PRAGMA db call does not work

Per you instruction, I tried
basel.database.run("PRAGMA foreign_keys = ON");

I put it in the app.config and it did not work
I tried it in the controller - when the controller loads and also in a function call and both did not work

That is a DB call. I am trying set the foreign_keys = ON.
I know this works from the sqlite-sync sqlite.js files bit it does not work from a controller in the application itself. Please try this and you will see it does not work
