Hello,

I came across your ESP32 synth project and got interested on it. It is really great and works pretty well. Actually I added USB MIDI support by using a usb host mini shield. So right now I was able to connect my usb midi keyboard and made it also accept usb midi inputs. The code is still very dirty so I am not ready to share yet.

Are you still updating this project? I would like to see more effects to this already wonderfull synth.
Is your code based on Mozzi or did you created from scratch? I ask because right now Mozzi is great but not optimize with the ESP32 in mind so I wanted something more focused on the ESP32 and its features, such as the internal DAC and the use of the extra cpu power.

I'm sorry for the very late reply. Currently I have no plans to update this project in the near future. Awesome to hear you made it work with USB MIDI! My MIDI keyboard only has USB, but I do not have a USB host shield. I actually made it work by using an arduino with a CH376 module to convert the USB MIDI to MIDI over UART.

Also, my code is not based on Mozzi at all. The code was slightly inspired by a STM32 synthesizer from this Youtube channel: https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCoEb9FIM5uLZekRLUyaKJfA
However, not much of the original code is left in this project :P
