Black screen when playing any content

At first it seemed like an easy solution to use this app to stream the content directly from my TV (TCL 55C61KSX1) to HyperHDR, and it seems to work just fine when I am in the TV menu. But as soon as I play any content (no matter if it is DRM protected or not) I only get a black screen and no usable signal for HyperHDR. Is there a workaround for this problem?

hmm nothing?? i think tcl watchdog doesnt like when you stream in apps apparently, this could be an issue sorry

could you try send a video so i can understand better

I have the same issue. The home screen works, but when running any application, whether it plays video or not, the source disappears from Hyperion.

I'm having the same issue on my TCL 50S546. Menu and home screen are working as expected, but black screen when playing any content from Youtube, Jellyfin, HDHomerun.

I can confirm the app is still running when returning to the menu.
