The fate of SDL2

I will soon merge the SDL3 pull request #169

After this, it will be time to think who still needs the SDL2 version.

I won't keep it alive forever: the API is so similar and different at the same time that it only causes headaches.

Plan is: as soon as Ubuntu 26.04 is out, I will move to SDL3 only.

I'd suggest preserving the last SDL2 code in a branch or tag so it'll be easier to work on in the future if somehow necessary.

Will do it. Now it is merged. I will do more things with it and use it as the base for the web version.

Then in May we can tag one last SDL2 commit.
