Hey,
Awesome work and it seems to work almost flawlessly. We want to include this extension into https://neon.com/ cloud Postgres. However, the way I understand licensing/copyright laws and how GitHub describes it is
However, without a license, the default copyright laws apply, meaning that you retain all rights to your source code and no one may reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works from your work.
See https://docs.github.com/en/repositories/managing-your-repositorys-settings-and-features/customizing-your-repository/licensing-a-repository
So legally we cannot do that, unfortunately.
Can you please consider adding an explicit LICENSE file?
P.S. I'm not sure that it's enough to do with any TPC-DS derivatives, though. TPC-DS benchmark itself is not freely available for use under any open-source license. So this all is kinda a grey zone, iiuc, so I can understand reluctance to adding any explicit licensing.
