Plugin system?

A couple times now we've mentioned that we eventually want Arch to have a plugin system, but nobody really knows what it should do. We can discuss and track that here.

What would you want a plugin system to let you do?

Some things I'll list here may not necessarily be something I'd want. I'm just trying to get the brain juices flowing. I'll add to this over time as I think of stuff...

• Add custom watch and build tasks (for compiling css and other assets, for example).
