Since the export feature ignores UI settings, how do I set defaults?

Hi,
Editing the nullboard.html file is too confusing for me. Setting the this.theme value to 'dark' inside AppConfig() seems to do nothing. Same as changing this.fontName.
I don't know what is going on, but some explanation or documentation would be great.
