Footnotes hangs ck 4.61

After installing footnotes on cmsimple xH 1.69 (->sourceforge - portable without mysql) the popup opens with "No existing footnotes"
The text-window is editable, but if i click on OK then nothing happens , and if i want to break off then the window hangs with a (german) dialog : Some options were changed - still want to close ?

Is it because of 4.61 or may there be a conflict with other modules

Thanks for reporting.
I haven't had time to work on this plugin for quite some time, I'm afraid.
I'll have a look into how it works with the latest CKEditor as soon as I can, but I can't see myself being able to install the cms you mentioned in order to test in that environment.

Do you have a sandbox set-up or something similar where I can see the problem in action?

I've tested the plugin with the latest CKEditor (4.7.1) and things work as expected on my test pages:

A list of the other add-ons you're using would be useful so I can see if any of them cause compatibility issues.
