[BUG] Keeps switching between mic pickup and mic at rest even when not at rest, when default mac os input is whatever connected bluetooth device

Describe the bug

Also, have to toggle between show in dock switcher and desktop to make it go away, even when already toggled. Main issue currently is that it crashes bluetooth on mac by alternating between mic listening mode and not, incessantly til app is quit or killed and solution is to change default microphone away from any defaults that will be the bluetooth attached input mics

Reproduction steps

1. Open or have fluid voice in background.

Expected behavior

Should not hijack input mic constantly, only when shortcut or opened by user

Actual behavior

Hijacks input mic on bluetooth connected devices and will not stop doing that then relinquishing it over and over to the point that no bluetooth audio is heard

Hey @GittyU, I have a suggestion. Can you turn on the "Faster Recording on" in the experimental section of settings tab ? Check the screenshot below. Let me know if that fixes things or not. Apologies for the inconvenience, we are in the middle of ripping out av audio engine and moving to core audio directly and this is causing a lot of heaches. Thanks for bearing with us

I can report I had this issue too, I had to rollback to 1.6.4 and seems to be working.
It was a mix of what @GittyU reported and getting music coming through my headphones as if the mic was active.

I'm using Bose 700 headphones.

Hey @marameodesignteam were you able to try with the "Faster recording start" option on in 1.6.5 ?

Hi @grohith327 , I had the same issue that it was reported, and I enabled the "Faster recording start" setting, and with it on the problem is gone.

I am also experiencing this, but Faster recording start does not fix the issue.

I have a similar issue on version v1.6.5 when a Bluetooth headset is connected. The headset regularly switches to microphone mode, which puts the headset into call mode with a codec change. The only solution is manually switching the system microphone from Bluetooth device to the built-in microphone. Enabling the "Fast Recording Start" option doesn't help: after the first dictation, the device switched to headset mode and stayed there.
