For this to work, I’ll need the updated_at field from the chain_state table cc @human058382928 . It was last updated on July 12.
My idea is to use updated_at + 10 minutes to display the time in a proper format.

If you simply display “10 minutes” without basing it on updated_at, every client will see “10 minutes” starting from whenever they last refreshed the page. That means the countdown or offset won’t be consistent across clients—it’ll reset per refresh instead of reflecting the real network state.

By anchoring it to the actual updated_at value from the database, all users see the same “10 minutes after block” time, no matter when they load the app. That way, the time is objective and synchronized, not subjective to each user’s session.

Yes but I need the updated_at column to be updated too (which is basically a field for when blocks are updated in db I assume) and I can use that to show the 10 minute time.
