Claude Agent ACP

Hi,

I just installed Zed and I'm trying to add Claude Agent using ACP, but I'm immediately getting the following error:

Internal error: {
  "details": "Claude Code process terminated by signal SIGKILL"
}

I've already tried updating/reinstalling both Zed and @acp/claude-code, and everything appears to be up to date.

Additional details:

• Zed version:
  Zed 1.4.4
  Commit: 1d0b482638588e5507184d91631e30596339ee1b
  Version: 1.4.4+stable.297.1d0b482638588e5507184d91631e30596339ee1b
• Claude Code version: 2.1.159 (Claude Code)
• Operating system: MacOS 26.5 (25F71)
• The error occurs immediately when attempting to add or start the ACP Claude Agent.
• No additional error messages appear in the UI.

Has anyone encountered this issue before, or are there any logs/debugging steps I can check to determine why the Claude Code process is being killed?

P.S: As an workaround I've ran this command:

sed -i '' 's/const ALLOW_BYPASS = !IS_ROOT || !!process.env.IS_SANDBOX;/const ALLOW_BYPASS = false;/' \
    "/Users/rtn-vc319/Library/Application Support/Zed/node/cache/_npx/e1a30164e2930b82/node_modules/@agentclientprotocol/claude-agent-acp/dist/acp-agent.js"

So the issue is we are allowing bypass and then then claude is crashing?
Do you have anything telling in the zed logs or if you run dev: open acp logs in the command palette?
