[CRITICAL BUG] We are completely logoless!

We've been so focused on getting the codebase ready for the public that we forgot the most vital component of any serious project: a cool logo.
If you have design skills and want to help give this project a visual identity, we would love your ideas! We're looking for something that captures real-time agent orchestration on Kubernetes.

I have 1 idea, but it's pretty rough. It's sort of a boat propeller, sticking with k8s' nautical theme. The color is just whatever came to mind. I have rendered it here in 3 different forms.

Davanum Srinivas (@dims) - could you please create similar logo in octagon shape? The "substrate"'s short name is "ate" that is pronounced as "eɪt" (number 8).

Where did the little robot come from? It's got a kind of Andy Warhol vibe.

We could try it as 3x3 with Warhol-ish colors. I have a file somewhere from a similar art project.

It's a little complicated for a logo, but it could be a fun shirt :). Too bad we don't get k8s contrib summit shirt designs any.more

If we’re taking suggestions, I think it would be fun to have a substrate/enzyme reference in the logo 😆

Hi Team! could someone help me understand why the project is called substrate?  We started to think about logos.  I found substrate very hard to pronounce 😅

On the word "substrate". Two answers.

1. In English the connotation of "substrate" is a base layer that feeds things, or from which things grow. It implies movement and life.

2. All the other words are strictly worse. Either they are vague or they are already used for other projects. We had to find something we could get thru trademark/branding approval :)

I think we should lean into this visually for the logo. A growth medium for agents.

This description aligns with the biology context (a growth medium for say plants or fungi), there is also the electronics context as in a silicon wafer / pcb, and the artistic context (like a canvas on which you paint), all generally a "base layer" on which things form.

Here are some doodles I was doing while on the community call today. "Substrate" to me reminds me of ocean sediment and so I was thinking of anchors. I know there are other anchor logos in Kubernetes projects so I was trying to make it look more like a face with a smile to make it more human-like. Using glasses reminds me of a secret agent which I think ties in with the theme a bit more. Just some ideas I thought I'd throw out and could iterate on.

I also think having something that is emoji-able and ascii-able helps so with this theme something like ⚓👔 and
