muted chat is not mute when Irc mod installed

I muted chat in some areas of my server LillyInTheValley. That works fine on the server itself.
What does not work is, that despite of chat is muted, it still will be send to IRC Channel if that
mod is installed. Is there a way to mute that, too ?
