Hi, I just wanted to write to personally say thank you for this, Zerschranzer! It has inspired me to create an ansible collection to help manage our servers in bulk, using your script as the backbone!

Hey, thank you – that really means a lot to me!
The fact that you’re using my script as the backbone for an Ansible collection is a huge compliment.

I actually started this whole project as a personal entry point into programming and scripting. Before that, I only had very basic knowledge, and building this manager helped me learn a lot along the way.
Knowing that it’s now useful to others is incredibly motivating and makes me want to keep improving it.

Also, I’ve recently created a Docker-based version of the project:

• All dependencies are encapsulated in images
• Each instance runs in its own container
• Server files are mounted as volumes, so you can switch freely between Docker and non-Docker setups – both access the same data

If you're interested, I’d be happy to show you the setup – and I’d also love to see what you’re building with your collection!
