Implement Live View mode

Description

Live View is a planned preview mode that shows a real-time preview of the markdown alongside the editor, without requiring a toggle. Currently:

• index.html:112-116 — button exists with .disabled class and "soon" badge
• viewMode.js:149-156 — applyLiveMode() silently falls back to preview mode
• viewMode.js:13 — JSDoc documents it as "disabled, future"

Expected Behavior

When Live View is active:

• Preview updates automatically on every keystroke (debounced)
• Editor and preview are visible simultaneously (similar to split view)
• No manual toggle required — preview is always live
• Mode persists across sessions via localStorage

Notes

This feature needs to be implemented alongside the Tauri migration in the Phoenix branch. The Electron version can remain as-is until Phoenix is ready.

Status update:

This is proving more difficult than I initially anticipated. While implementing it with out consequence is easy I'm not prepared to increase the active ram footprint that much.

Open to suggestions on this one else we might drop the feature.

Closing this as won't fix for SnapDock V3.

Live View is technically achievable, but the implementation increases the application's active memory footprint enough that I don't think the tradeoff is justified.

SnapDock V3 is already based on Electron, and one of the goals of the project is to remain a focused Markdown editor rather than gradually growing into a heavier IDE-style application.

With V3 now moving toward maintenance mode, I don't want to introduce a relatively expensive feature this late in its lifecycle.

The idea may be reconsidered independently in Phoenix if the Tauri architecture makes it possible to provide the same experience without a significant resource penalty, but this issue will not be carried forward as a requirement.

This issue will remain open until the existing Live View references are removed from SnapDock V3. Once the cleanup sub-issue is complete, this issue can be closed.
