Binary firmware for v4s on v4a bricked my keyboard

I flashed the binary available on the v4s directory on my v4a keyboard and now it is bricked. I can't put any of the halves back in DFU mode, in order to try another firmware. Is there a way to recover it?

Here is my suggestion for recovery:

Try the "double reset" trick first: quickly short the RESET twice after USB power-on. This may force the chip into DFU mode. If it works, re-flash the firmware via DFU.

If that fails, the bootloader is likely corrupted. Then your only option is SWD. You'll need a programmer (ST-Link/J-Link) to flash the bootloader back.
