Realigned Technologies Ltd Contributor License Agreement (CLA)

By submitting a contribution (e.g., via a Pull Request), you agree to the following terms.

Copyright License

You grant Realigned Technologies Ltd and recipients of software distributed by Realigned Technologies Ltd a perpetual, worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free, irrevocable license to reproduce, prepare derivative works of, publicly display, publicly perform, sublicense, and distribute your contributions and derivative works.

You retain all other rights, title, and interest in your contributions.

Dual Licensing

Realigned Technologies Ltd will distribute the work containing your contribution under one or both of:

  • GNU Affero General Public License (AGPL), Version 3.0 (or any later version)
  • Windshift Commercial License (or any successor commercial license)

Realigned Technologies Ltd guarantees the work will always be available under at least the AGPL (or a compatible open-source copyleft license) to ensure the continued open availability of the codebase.

Patent License

You grant Realigned Technologies Ltd and recipients of software distributed by Realigned Technologies Ltd a perpetual, worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free, irrevocable patent license to make, have made, use, offer to sell, sell, import, and otherwise transfer the work — limited to patent claims licensable by you that are necessarily infringed by your contribution(s) alone or combined with the work. If any entity institutes patent litigation alleging that your contribution or the work constitutes patent infringement, any patent licenses granted to that entity under this agreement terminate as of the filing date.

Your Representations

You represent that:

  1. You are legally entitled to grant the above licenses.
  2. Your contributions are your original creation.
  3. If your employer has rights to intellectual property you create, you have received permission to contribute on behalf of that employer, or your employer has waived such rights.
  4. You will disclose any third-party licenses or restrictions associated with your contributions.

Governing Law

This agreement is governed by the laws of Switzerland, with exclusive jurisdiction in Zug. You agree to notify Realigned Technologies Ltd if any of the above representations become inaccurate.
