Goals for v0.1.0

• add threading support, so it is non-blocking
• handle already translated objects
• some sort of object copying (possibly with cancel object support)

Appears to work, and pretty fast, at least for small models. It does trigger the "Object does not fit print volume" error, even though it obviously does.

Ah, it's including the purge line that doesn't show on that layer. When it gets moved over, it extends beyond the right edge.

OK, installing now. BTW, just messing around with the previous version, and I got this (bottom left before translating, top right after (100/100 move). The object doesn't look too bad, but the skirt is hosed :)

Perhaps, as mentioned, it could tie into the cancel objects info, but the Cancel Objects plugin doesn't recognize the object until it starts printing it.

OK, latest version does not throw the "doesn't fit print volume" error. But neither does it translate the model from its original location.

Yes, it does appear to work properly, although I haven't done an actual print with it as of yet (testing it using a backup Pi/OctoPrint that isn't actually connected to a printer, as my printers are busy). It translates properly, and when using outrageous numbers, OP still correctly detects that it is outside the printer volume.

Things possibly for the future:

1. automatically select the currently selected file as default target
2. a "Load for Print After Translation" option.
3. hierarchical display (folders/files) in the selection dialog, to make finding and selecting files easier for large libraries of files.
4. a "duplicate at" as well as "translate" option (this would be harder, so I can understand if it's not a viable option, as it would involve the interleaving of layers from the original to the duplicate and a concomitant move to and from, so as to keep the layers properly sequenced). This can, of course, be done in the slicer, but sometimes I just want to make two or three of something without going back to the slicer - and sometimes I can't remember all the settings, 'cause I'm an old fart :) .

I just pushed some code that deals with 1, 2, and 3. I moved the file selection into the normal file pane (the action button on the far right), and I added 4 different options for what happens after a print finishes.

I will move onto working on number 4 (I am thinking as many shifted copies as desired and possibly check if the bounding boxes overlap).

I cannot select a file now, either from the file pane or the plugin (it selects and loads fine to print as it normally does, but does not seem to be selected in any way in the translate plugin, and the Translate button is disabled and the text box shows a "Prohibited" cursor when mousing over it.

Ah, OK. Got it.

I think it might be more intuitive for an end user for the plugin to just assume the file that is highlighted(selected) if there is none loaded, or the one loaded if there is. Besides, my File Manager is starting to get overloaded with extra buttons :)

I think you should start the beta/release candidate process, so you could get more input from others besides me.
