Business customers who self-host receive a commercial license exception alongside their subscription, allowing private modifications without AGPLv3 obligations. See COMMERCIAL_LICENSE.md.
All configuration knobs are documented inline in .env.example, including TEAM_OBJECTS_MIN_CLIENT_VERSION — an opt-in floor below which clients are refused when writing team vault objects (reads are never gated). Leave it unset until your users have updated.
