Current Behavior
Hi there,
Happy new year and best wishes to everyone on the team as well as anyone else reading!
I am a new user to SteamOS, having built my own custom system recently, installed SteamOS which I diverted from the 3.7 stable to the 3.9-main updates and noticed a little something while trying out the hardware monitoring: CPU power is showing 0W at all times?
The 9600X comes with an iGPU, which would correspond to "GPU1", which does have power monitoring but I don't know this tool well and wouldn't assume the exposed value to be the whole CPU package's draw.
I did go in BIOS and enabled the "dGPU only mode" (which disables iGPU when a dGPU is detected on the system) to see if, by some sort of weird magic trick, it would change anything: no can do, GPU1 is gone but CPU doesn't show any more power draw than it did the first time around!
I saw some reddit post with a weird fix I tried to apply but didn't get very far; the package mentioned there wouldn't download for some reason and I saw there wasn't an open issue mentioning this so here I am with my DIY Machine, if any more information is required, I am more than willing to provide whatever you need. (Note: I did not try to use it in desktop mode, only gaming mode/Big Picture)
Steps To Reproduce
Enable system monitoring (be it in game or in main menu) and it would be showing 0W
