Hi! I was wondering if it's possible to use OpenFFBoard with an STM32F411CEU6 instead of the STM32F411RE.
From what I understand, both MCUs are based on the same STM32F411 silicon, with the main difference being the package size and the number of available GPIOs. Would it be possible to run the firmware on the F411CEU6 by remapping the pins and simply giving up the features that require the extra pins?
For my application, I only need:
1 FFB steering axis (X axis)
4 analog pedal inputs
I'll be using a separate Raspberry Pi Pico-based device for the shifter, so I don't need all of the I/O available on the F411RE.
Has anyone tried this before, or are there any hardware or firmware limitations that would prevent it?
If modification is needed then what files to modify for remapping the pins?
