Hello. if it's possible, in the newer releases maybe you can add fullscreen mode that'll be accasable with F11 or alt+enter, like other apps?

1. the main application.
2. if the taskbar gets hidden, subtitle container will be taller, therefore more subtitles will be able to show without scrolling down. Macbook version has the fullscreen mode and it's very convinient

May I confirm that "Macbook version" refers to Aegisub on MacOS, or other subtitling software? If former, It is because macOS functionally treat "window" differently, allowing full screen to be declared as a window capability and executes it in standardized behavior (implemented here at https://github.com/TypesettingTools/Aegisub/blob/master/src/osx/osx_utils.mm#L23-L31 ). Implementing equivalent behavior on other platform requires platform-dependent code for each, which, albeit can be done, is often fragile and adds maintenance burden.
It eventually boils down to the project steward's altitude, who may later review and decide whether it's feasible to add such behavior.

Yes, I meant aegisub on MacOS. I made it work with autohotkeys, but it gets laggy and works outside of aegisub, which can get bothersome when using other applications.
I've been fansubbing for over 5 years and it's better when the whole screen can be used by the app and there are no distractions, but of course it's up to the developer. after all, maybe it's not that important of an issue, if I'm the only person who mentioned it.
