Connect multiple trains to one journey

Hi all,

often when I travel from A to D I have to step over once or twice. At the moment I always check in every train ride independently:

• first from A to B
• than from B to C
• and finally from C to D

It would be great if I could connect this train rides somehow so that at they end they get grouped and show up as one trip from A to D. Maybe a option for every checkin to mark it as a continuation of the previous train ride?

Since this has gotten a few more likes, I've decided to play with a few ideas..

Similar to the logic that's currently used for the ticket feature, we could have a similar screen that lets users see their own, manually created trips. Maybe like this:

Each trip can be clicked to see the check-ins that were assigned to it as well as a few statistics, such as duration, avg speed, changeovers, etc:
