Add ability to create custom project categories beyond "Active", "Finished", and "Archived"
Currently, SysReptor provides three fixed project navigation categories:
These categories are hardcoded in the navigation component and cannot be customized or extended.
Request: I would like to request the ability to create custom project categories/statuses for better organization and workflow management. This would allow teams to organize projects according to their specific needs, such as:
- Custom status workflows (e.g., "Planning", "In Progress", "On Hold", "Completed", "Archived")
- Team-specific categorization
- Project phases or stages
Proposed Solution allow administrators to:
- Create custom project statuses/categories
- Define custom navigation items in the project menu
- Assign projects to custom statuses while maintaining backward compatibility with existing "Active", "Finished", and "Archived" states
