Hi all,
I first heard about Swipes for Science a few years ago as braindr. At the time, we needed a super quick implementation of a QC tool for clinical brain MRIs, so I had spun up a Jupyter notebook for grading .pngs. Now we're in a place to take our QC to the next level, but our biggest barrier has to do with the clinical data we're using. It's hosted on a firewalled server and likely will not be able to be uploaded to S3 or Github, but we would love to be able to upgrade to the Swipes for Science interface.
Has anyone ever hosted the data locally and deployed the app through a local server? Does anyone have any ideas which components of the application would need to be modified to enable local Swipes?
FWIW I have a strong background in Python and bash, and a smidge of experience with Javascript, SQL, and Firebase.
Any help and suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
Best,
Jenna
