Feature request- oled status display support for esp32 devkit /wroom

It would be great if you added oled status display for esp32 dev. This way we wouldn't have to open web dashboard every time when we need to check. I was thinking one display should show all the board's status so only one esp 32 will lose some processing power letting others run 100% in mining.

Great suggestion! SparkMiner actually already supports SSD1306 OLED displays on ESP32-S3 and ESP32-C3 boards. Adding support for standard ESP32 devkits (WROOM/DevKitC) with an external I2C OLED would be straightforward.

How it would work:

• Wire a standard SSD1306 128x64 OLED module to your ESP32 devkit:
  • SDA → GPIO21 (default I2C data)
  • SCL → GPIO22 (default I2C clock)
  • VCC → 3.3V
  • GND → GND
• Flash with a new "ESP32 OLED" firmware variant

Compatibility: Excellent — the existing OLED driver defaults already match standard ESP32 I2C pins (GPIO21/22, address 0x3C). This is essentially a new PlatformIO environment with the right build flags pointing to the existing OLED display driver.

Your idea about having one display ESP32 show stats for all boards is interesting — that would require a stats aggregation feature which is a bigger undertaking, but the basic "show this board's own stats on an OLED" is very doable.

The display doesn't have to show detailed specs. For example i mine duco coin with 10 esp8266. Only attached one oled to a esp8266 and it shows active miners, balance, hash rate. If it's possible with a weak board like esp8266 should be possible with esp32 also though Im just assuming I'm no expert. But you should check it out how they did it
