Include YAML

Not sure if it is a bug, but on my MacBook Pro, the YAML does not render when the "Hide Frontmatter" toggle is set to "off". I set the YAML to ben a code block, then it renders as a code block. A temporary fix to get the info printed.

I don't know, it is working fine on my end, tested with Hide Frontmatter set to false.

OK, I understand why. I am talking about Obsidian Properties at the top of the .md file, which I thought is YAML and is formatted as

property: value

Not as you have shown within code block delimiters. For this case the toggle works, it is ignored for the case above?

Did you mean when hide frontmatter toggle is set to on?
Cause the properties is called frontmatter, so the plugin should not render it when hide frontmatter is on(if on then the frontmatter yaml is stripped from top) and not when it is off.

Correct, I have frontmatter as: --- author: Company Name --- It does not render whether I have the "Hide Frontmatter" toggle set to "off" or "on" Graham Smale

But if I set FrontMatter to ```yaml author: Company Name ``` It renders irrespective of the toggle being on or off Graham Smale

Hi there,

I'm having the same issue as Graham. All of my YAML frontmatter is formatted like this:

---
xyzxyzxyz
---

rather than

```yaml 
xyzxyzxyz

I believe this is relatively common.
