Simulator uses hardcoded path from another machine, does not work on other machines

I don’t understand what this path should be. Is it the output of the simulator?

Also, what is the simulator? For instance, if I want to generate training examples for n=31, should I run this python script to generate them, or should I change the parameters in this shell script, and run the script?

Hi @mahmudhera, this is the path for saving the simulation sequence pairs, which you will use for training, validation, or testing. Please update the path to your save location and adjust the parameters in the shell script, as required: sequence length(l), number of pairs per edit(s), and maximum edit distance(d). The maximum edit distance is typically set between 0.3 and 0.5 of the sequence length.
