Imported svg can't be ungrouped

Imported svg can't be ungrouped

Expected behavior
After importing a svg, it should be possible to ungroup it, for editing and expanding a svg.

Additional context
Same problem in my electron-port. In https://editor.method.ac, which uses also the svgcanvas, it's working.

select the element and click this button , then right click element , select ungrouped
