Annex Headings: Improperly Formatted

The Annex A and Annex B headings are formatted as follows (using Annex A as the example):

Per ISO, it should be centered, and formatted as follows:

ISO is not consistent in the presentation (print vs. HTML).

The print version uses the following format. There is a separate, preceding page:

The HTML version of the ISO Directives specifies the annex heading (Clause 20.4) as follows, i.e., using the same format as the print version:

While the ISO document provides the same, multi-line example in Clause 20.4 as the print version, it does not specify in the text that they be split into lines, only that they specify the Annex letter, the "normative" or "informative" designation, and the title. Technically, the heading in Clause 20.4 is an example, not a specification. I interpreted the example as a requirement.

So I guess that they are not breaking with their own annex heading format examples in the HTML version of the ISO Directives, as the format is not actually specified:

Note also that there is an "ANNEXES" title directly preceding the annexes.

I never noticed the "ANNEXES" title page/heading until now. We could add it going forward, although there is no specification that I have found in the ISO Directives that requires an ANNEXES title page (print) or heading (HTML). If you add, then I would make it the same size as the Annex headings.

The use of bold for "(normative)" or "(informative)" is inconsistent:

• Not bold in the print version
• Bold in the HTML version.

I have been using bold for the entire heading.
