Bug: when using scrolling setting, and scrolling to the edge, the result is inconsistent sometimes #11

Description

@AndroidDeveloperLB

Tested on emulator (with Pixel 2 preset) with Android 15 and Pixel 6 with Android 15, but this also occurred before, on Android 14 too.

Steps:

  1. Have the launcher (tested on built-in Pixel launcher, but also occurs on Nova Launcher) with 3 home pages on it.

  2. Use the app and set a video wallpaper that it's easy to notice what will happen when reaching the edges and also easy to notice the beginning of the video. I tested this simple video of an analog clock (I chose the 960×540 resolution) :

APK tested is from here:
https://github.com/SCratORS/ImageWallpaperSC/blob/master/ImageWallpaperSC_2.1.92.apk

But can use the code from the project here (I had to re-create the repository to test it, as the IDE failed to build it):

ImageWallpaperSC.zip

  1. Set the wallpaper to be scrolling, without parallax effect, as such:

  1. Go to the main home screen, scroll to the edge on the right. Take a screenshot or remember how it looks like when it's idle (meaning you don't touch anything and nothing but the video is moving).
  2. Repeat step 4 multiple times.

The bug:

Eventually the video will be trimmed in a wrong way. In the case of this specific video, the right side of the clock is shown with different amount of content.

Full video of how to reproduce the issue via the emulator (Android 14 this time), with touch indication turned on to show where I'm touching:

1_1.zip

As you can see, Sometimes I get to have the whole clock being shown when scrolling to the right edge, and sometimes I get to see a tiny part of it instead.

Please fix this, as well as the orientation issue I've explained here:

#10

I'm willing to donate for these bugs to be fixed, as well as to change the license to be more permissive.
