Summary

  • Updates 5 CAM Workbench wiki pages with FreeCAD 1.2 features documented in the release notes:
  1. CAM_Adaptive – Rest machining support (FreeCAD/FreeCAD#27908), automatic helix entry diameter (#23980), reorganized helix entry properties with ''Helix Max Ramp Angle'' and ''Helix Max Pitch'' (#22357), and improved lead-in validation (#29971).

  2. CAM_Engrave – Tolerance for segmentation precision (#26127), arc approximation for smoother G2/G3 output (#29528), ''Pattern'' and ''Reverse'' properties (#22226), and improved ''Op Final Depth'' default (#26543).

  3. CAM_Drilling – Tapping strategy consolidation (#27506) and manual face/edge selection for base geometry (#27494).

  4. CAM_DressupTag – ''Tolerance'' property (#26127), ''Approximation'' property for non-horizontal arcs (#28502), automatic tag placement for closed paths (#22468), and scaling improvements (#29094).

  5. CAM_Slot – Updated ''CutPattern'' value names and ''LayerMode'' behavior description (#25090, #25867).

Validation

Addresses #25.

Do not add T tags yourself; only modify the files in the wiki root directory, do not touch the translation files. Please check the latest version and ensure that the information you are adding has not been added previously. Also, be sure to cite the source of your change. Regression corrections should not be added to the documentation. And it should never contain information that the end user shouldn't know.
