Metadata requests from @magiraud for the YAML files:

• Priority: data already included in the paths -- make explicit separate fields for
  • opus name/number, movement name/number (blank if not relevant)
  • lyricist name
• Also easy and perhaps useful: (first) time/key signature (extracted from score as currently implemented in When in Rome)
• Possibly also: (approx.) year of composition (would need to extract/retrieve first).

Expanding scope of this issue and tagging @Budimba wrt ongoing metadata / database plans

Additional items to consider:

• instrumentation
  • Perhaps empty in the standard case of one voice; one piano
  • Specify for those cases that diverge (existing cases include 2 voices, 1 x piano only, ...)
• create/expanded cross-reference with:
  • wikidata (currently composer only, expand to sets and songs)
  • lieder.net (for songs texts). This allows clarity: full songs texts and multiple translations to be hosted there.

Aim to have reciprocal links between platforms.

If mutliple voices, do different voice types count as different instruments?

We will encode a summative list of all encoded parts a format like ("Soprano", "Tenor", "Piano"). Multiple cases of the same type without differentiation can be numbered ("voice 1", "voice 2"), though we should double check sources in those cases.
