Phase 6: Group statistics and manuscript figures

Goal

Group-level condition contrast plus manuscript-ready figure.

Entrypoint

src/matlab/phase6_stats.m.

Steps

• Per-cluster group contrast (boy-only vs puppy-only) via permutation test, FDR-corrected
• Include LLR as continuous covariate in the GLM
• Identify cluster of maximal effect
• Produce main figure: time-frequency panel per condition + difference map + scalp topography
• Produce supplementary: per-cluster ERSP, trial-count table, LLR distribution per condition
• Save figures under derivatives/figures/ (SVG + PNG + PDF)
• Write a short results summary (derivatives/figures/RESULTS.md) with stats table

Post-phase

• Validate on full 500 Hz R3 from S3 (swap BIDS root path; re-run Phases 1-6)

Success Criteria

• Figure and stats table produced for the locked contrast
• Full 500 Hz validation pathway documented, not necessarily executed in this phase
