Description
I am experiencing an issue with the turntable motor on my OpenScan Classic; it does not rotate and fails to respond to any commands.
To troubleshoot, I have tried the following steps:
-
Initial Setup: I assembled the official OpenScan PCB myself, installing two A4988 drivers. The ring lights and camera function correctly, and the rotor motor works perfectly. However, the turntable remains stationary.
-
Hardware Check: I confirmed both motors are NEMA 17 (40Ncm) and tested with both a 12V/3A and a 12V/5A power supply, but the problem persisted.
-
Official Pre-built Hardware: To rule out a assembly error, I purchased the official pre-soldered Pi Shield V1 and the recommended NEMA 17 (13Ncm) motor from OpenScan. Unfortunately, the turntable still does not turn.
Despite these efforts, the issue remains. I would greatly appreciate any guidance on how to resolve this.
